Alfred Noble Robinson Exempt and Non-Exempt Staff Award
Recognizes outstanding performance in service to the University and unusual promise of professional achievement. Each year one award will be given to the most derserving exempt or nonexempt staff member of those nominated.
Eligibility: • Employed full-time by Lehigh University in administration, research, or any combination of these and in at least the second year of such employment • Less than 35 years of age on Founders Day. • Selection Process: Nominations for this award are made annually by faculty and staff. When a nominee is from the Exempt Staff, it will be screened by the Exempt Staff Award Committee who will rank the top three candidates. Similarly, when a nominee is from the non-exempt staff, it will be screened by the Nonexempt Staff Award Committee who will rank the top three candidates. The final selection will be made by the Senior Officers.
Amount: $3,000
Criteria: Outstanding performance in the service of the University and unusual promise of professional achievement. • Previous winners of this award have shown extraordinary enthusiasm for Lehigh’s goals and priorities, often working beyond their direct area/unit on University-wide projects or committees.
