Perry and Carol Zirkel Non-Exempt Staff Award
The Perry and Carol Zirkel Non-Exempt Staff Award was established to recognize outstanding performance and contributions by a member of the non-exempt staff. An award of $500 is presented annually to a member of the non-exempt staff at the Faculty/Staff Dinner. No one is eligible to win this award more than once.
Non-exempt staff are those individuals classified as secretarial, clerical, or technical employees (e.g. administrative secretaries, department coordinators). Exempt staff are not eligible (e.g. administrative associates, managers).
Nominations may come from any member of the faculty, exempt staff, or non-exempt staff and will be screened by Human Resources. The final selection will be made by the President's Staff.
